Last week in Venice there was a meeting of national strawbale organisations from throughout Europe. I went along as a representative of SBUK. This meeting arose out of a meeting last August which took place at ESBG in Montargis. You may remember me mentioning this at our first SBUK meeting in London. This was when I discovered we were the only nation attending which didn’t have a national association.
Happily now we have, so I registered our interest under the auspices of SBUK. SBUK is now part of the General Assembley of ESBA and has full voting rights. My name is there as the representative and the address for SBUK is Jeffrey’s (with his permission) for now. I represented us last week and Straw Works paid for me to attend. Perhaps we could have an agenda item at our next SBUK meeting to decide who the representative will be at the next ESBA meeting?
As soon as I have the minutes from last week I will post them on here – well I’ll try!
